Carowinds has many amusement park rides, and waterpark attractions.
    Water Rides:
    Rip Roarin' Rapids
The rapids ride itself were built by Hopkins in 1982. The ride originally used 8-person rafts but towards the end of the season a raft flipped over the waterfall so in 1983, they were replaced with Intamin AG 6-person rafts that are still in service today.
    Wild Thornberry's'™ River Adventure
Wild Thornberry's River Adventure opened way back in 1973 as the "Powder Keg Flume", it is also an original ride to the park. It is more commonly refered to as the Log Flume or the Water Logs.
    Whitewater Falls
Whitewater Falls opened on the location of the Hillbilly Jalopies(also known as Blue Ridge Detour.) in 1988, the ride's name comes from the actual "Whitewater Falls" located near Cashiers, North Carolina.
