For Carowinds' 30th season, Carowinds got a standard Mack Wild Mouse rollercoaster in 2002 along with the retheme of Blue Ridge Junction to Carolina Boardwalk. Ricochet is located next to the Cyclone and in front of the Scream Weaver, close to the Boardwalk lighthouses. Ricochet replaced the Casey's Grill restaurant. It does not cost a nickel to ride Ricochet. Ricochet lines tend to get long as the ride has low riders per hour, but it normally is about 10 to 20 minutes. Ricochet is worth the wait.
