The bi-planes from 1975 to 2004 were themed to Dick Dasterdly and his dog, Mutley. However, the name has been Flying Circus, and Flying Machines. This ride is the only kiddy ride that has always been at Carowinds, in the same spot, and keep it's theme when the Hanna-Barbera characters moved from ride to ride. Now it is Tommy's Take-Off.
