Action F/X Theater opened in 1993 as "Days Of Thunder", it was the first ride under the Paramount's Carowinds name. It was renamed to the Paramount Action F/X Theater in 1998 when the Days Of Thunder video was removed. 007 James Bond opened in 1999 and closed in 2000. After 007, came 7th Portal in 2001 along with Smash Factory(2001 only), 7th Portal was removed after 2002. Meteor Attack opened in 2002. SpongeBob 3D opened in 2003 along with the short-lived "Secrets of the Lost Temple(Indiana Jones)" which closed halfway into 2003. In 2004, everyone's favorite "Days Of Thunder" returned during the Coca-Cola 600 and stayed up to SCarowinds. SpongBob has been running for four seasons. The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera ran in 2006, this show ran at Universal Studios Orlando from 1990-2002)
